Biden and Netanyahu Discuss Hostage-Related Issues
U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a phone conversation during which they discussed the ongoing negotiations regarding hostages, according to the Times of Israel.
During the call, Netanyahu informed Biden about the mandate he has given to the Israeli negotiating team, which was sent to Doha yesterday evening, as stated by the Prime Minister's office.
Netanyahu also expressed his gratitude to Biden and the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump for their efforts to secure the release of hostages, according to a report from the Israeli government.
