Deputy Secretary General of the Investigative Committee Submits Resignation
The head of the Investigative Committee, Arthur Poghosyan, signed an order on January 8 stating: "Guided by point 1 of part 2 of article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Investigative Committee, part 1 of article 16 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Civil Service, and point 1 of part 1 of article 37, and also based on the application of Armen Tovmasyan, I hereby order: 1. To relieve Armen Sergey Tovmasyan, deputy secretary general of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia (code 33-Ձ2-1) from his position, in accordance with his personal application, effective January 7 of the current year."
