Mirzoyan on Fabricated Accusations and the EU Mission
Armenia continues to develop its relations with the USA and the EU. This was stated by the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a press conference held today.
He reminded that the European Union’s civilian mission remains stationed along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. “This is an important factor, especially in the times and rhetoric that we are currently experiencing and witnessing. Our conviction is that as long as Armenia does not have demarcated borders, or in those areas where Armenia does not have demarcated borders with Azerbaijan, and as long as there are such fabricated accusations regarding the Armenian Armed Forces opening fire or violating peace, as we also witnessed days ago, under these circumstances, we will continue to require the presence of the EU civilian mission, and we consider their presence to be necessary,” said Mirzoyan.
