Aliyev and Erdogan Held Phone Conversation
On January 8, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. This was reported by Azerbaijani media.
During the phone call, there was an exchange of views on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as regional and global issues. Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that cooperation between the countries would develop in all areas based on the principle of 'One Nation, Two States.' He also stated that his country fully supports achieving sustainable peace in the South Caucasus region and will always stand by Azerbaijan.
