What Purpose Did the US Allocate Funds to Ukraine?
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced that Ukraine has received $1 billion from the United States.
"This is the first installment of the planned $20 billion that the US is ready to allocate through the use of frozen Russian assets, as part of the G7 initiative," he stated.
It is noteworthy that the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund has completed the sixth review of Ukraine's extended funding program and approved the allocation of a new tranche of $1.1 billion. Ukraine has received $1.1 billion from the International Monetary Fund.
