Armenia Remains a Very Important Participant for Us – Peskov
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, responded to a question about Armenia's role in the CIS, stating that Armenia's work in the organization is mutually beneficial. It brings advantages to both the country and the CIS.
“Our Armenian partners do not participate in the CSTO; they have suspended their participation. Nevertheless, Armenia remains a very important participant in both the EAEU and the CIS. Both Armenia and the Armenian people receive significant dividends from this participation. Therefore, this is a bilateral path where both the CIS and our Armenian friends have interests,” Peskov noted.
