Moldova's President Preparing for War, Says Russian Intelligence Agency
No one can guarantee that Moldova's President Maia Sandu, who has announced the need to develop a military operation plan to establish control over Transnistria, will not attempt to ignite an actual war in the region, stated the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
“Of course, the European Union would not be opposed to a new crisis point emerging in Russia's direct sphere of interests. However, Brussels is still not prepared for this. And the border is dangerously close. But no one can guarantee that the President of Moldova will not actually try to start a real war in the region,” the statement added.
