VIDEO: Water Pipeline Breaks, Losing 100 Liters of Water Per Second

Veolia Water has reported that a 600 mm water pipeline supplying the Ejmiatsin region has broken, resulting in a loss of 100 liters of water per second.

The "Ejmiatsin" operational unit is already on-site and has begun emergency repair works.

As a result of this incident, water supply will be interrupted from October 4 at 12:00 PM until October 5 at 12:00 AM for the following villages in the Ararat region: Ejmiatsin city, Artimet, Aravashat, Aigeshat, Amberd, Arshalouis, Aghavnatun, Aragats, Artamet, Geghakert, Dasht, Dghos, Lernahely, Khoronk, Tsaghkalanj, Tziatsan, Tsaghkunk, Haytagh, Hovtamej, Mrgastan, Musaler, Shahumyan, Voskahat, Ptghunk, Ferik, Shenik, Aredasht, and Argin.
