Russia Supports Iran's Policy on Trade Routes and Corridors with Azerbaijan, Says Shoigu
The Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergey Shoigu, during his visit to Tehran, met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and conveyed a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reported by the IRNA agency.
"During the visit to Tehran, Shoigu met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and delivered his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin's message," the agency writes.
It is noted that Shoigu assessed the implementation of previously achieved bilateral agreements with Ahmadian during negotiations in Tehran with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadian. Additionally, the IRNA publication states that "the Secretary of the Russian Security Council emphasized that his country supports Iran's policy regarding trade routes and corridors with Azerbaijan."
