New System for Citizen Service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs Migration and Citizenship Services
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) will implement a new queue management system in its Migration and Citizenship Services over the upcoming week. This digital solution will enable more efficient management of citizen services, significantly reducing wait times.
The combined (online and ticket-based) queue management system in the territorial subdivisions of the MIA will allow citizens to equally benefit from both electronic registration and on-site ticket services. Prioritizing the convenience of citizens, the platform will retain the same address: migration.e-gov.am.
The changes will exclusively relate to the order and logic of steps required for queue registration. It should be noted that as of May 2023, services in Yerevan have been offered through electronic queue registration, while regions have utilized a ticket-based/live queue format.
Attention: To enhance the effectiveness of the new system, citizens with registrations on the migration.e-gov.am platform will receive notifications in the coming months requesting confirmation of their appointments. Registered citizens are urged to be attentive to the notifications received and to reconfirm their scheduled visits.
Additionally, it is important to inform that due to the implementation of the new system, the option for making reservations on the platform has been temporarily suspended for the current week. After completing the necessary work to relieve the electronic queue, the reservation platform will be reactivated with an updated version.
