Nine Cows of Voskepar Residents Found in Landmine Field Near Border, Three Injured by Explosions
Journalist Voskana Sargsyan posted on his Facebook page: “On the evening of August 31, nine cows belonging to three residents of Voskepar ended up in a landmine field adjacent to the former, now inactive road from Voskepar to Kiran. From the livestock owners, I learned that two of the nine cows successfully escaped the barbed-wire fenced landmine field, while three were injured by the explosions of anti-personnel mines; four cows remain in the mined area. The livestock owners reported that there has been no delimitation in that section leading from Voskepar to Kiran.”
