Alternative Options for Celebrating the Day of Artsakh's Independence Declaration
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) intends to hold an event on September 2 to commemorate the day of the adoption of the Artsakh independence declaration at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. However, the management of the complex initially refused to provide the large hall, subsequently offered a smaller one, and days later canceled the initial agreement and contract altogether. The event organizers have been informed that there are purportedly other preliminary arrangements in place.
We have learned that as an alternative, the 'Dvin' hotel is being considered, and the ARF is negotiating this issue. Whether an agreement will be reached with the owner of 'Dvin' remains uncertain. On the same day, Bishop Bagrat will also hold a gathering in the yard of St. Anna Church, which will be dedicated to the day of Artsakh's independence.
