Defense Minister Demands Urgent Weapons Dispatch to Kursk and Belgorod

The Minister of Defense of Russia, Andrey Belousov, has requested the General Staff and the National Defense Management Center to address the provision of military personnel in Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions with weapons, uniforms, and equipment, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“The head of the military department has instructed to pay special attention to the supply of defensive measures, armored vehicles, communication means, fire strike capabilities, and ammunition,” the defense agency reported. According to Belousov, it is necessary not to fulfill requests officially, but rather to organize real improvements in the provision of fighters currently stationed at the front lines.
