“The Entire Production Has Burned Down”: Company Director on Cotton Plant Fire

Employees working at the cotton production plant reported that sparks from the fuses ignited the fire. This was stated by the company's director in an interview with NEWS.am.

“The damage is quite significant. The entire cotton production has burned down. We do not yet know the results; we still have no opportunity to enter the premises. Everything in the building is damaged, and the building itself is as well,” said the company's director.

Earlier, it was reported that a large fire had broken out at the production plant located on Isakyan Avenue. Six firefighting units were dispatched to extinguish the fire. The fire was put out at 17:18.
