Conditions for Duty-Free Imports Change Again: Decision by the Armenian Government
The Armenian government has decided to reduce the maximum duty-free import volume for goods brought in through land borders and by mail. Previously, it was possible to import goods worth up to 500 euros and with a total weight of up to 25 kg without customs duties. Now, that amount will decrease to 200 euros, and the weight limit will be reduced to 10 kg.
Regarding postal parcels, the threshold has been lowered to 200,000 drams and 31 kg. Previously, this amount was set at 1,000 euros and 31 kg according to the EAEU regulations.
This decision will take effect 10 days after the official publication by the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.
