Kia and Ford Transit Collide on Yerevan-Sevan Highway

Today, on June 18, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region.

Around 17:30, on the 32 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan road, while heading towards Yerevan, vehicles of the brands 'Kia' and 'Ford Transit' collided.

According to Shamshyan's reports, as a result of the collision, the 'Kia' crashed into the iron barriers installed on the road divider, went over the green lawn, and ended up overturned in the opposite lane, partially blocking the road.

As a result of the accident, one person with bodily injuries was transported to the 'Charentsavan' medical center.

The drivers underwent sobriety testing, and it was confirmed that they were sober. The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured.

It has been reported that the driver of the 'Kia' was a woman who did not possess a valid driver's license.
