Yerevan Council to Go on Vacation, No Extraordinary Sessions Planned
The Yerevan Council will soon go on its "summer vacation." As previously reported, the national parliament concluded its summer session on Thursday, and except for extraordinary sessions, regular sessions of the National Assembly will not take place until autumn.
According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," the last session of this council is scheduled for June 25, after which council members will also head into vacation. The regular session of the council will take place in September.
Unlike the members of parliament, who plan to hold extraordinary sessions during the summer, Yerevan council members intend to enjoy their summer break. In a conversation with the media, members of the Yerevan council stated that they are not inclined to convene extraordinary sessions in summer unless extraordinary situations or urgent projects arise.
