Russia is Changing its Ambassador: A Serious Figure Will Be Sent to Yerevan
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," two high-ranking officials recently made aggressive statements regarding Armenia's exit from the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization). In response to an opposition lawmaker's question, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the previous authorities had entered a 'bubble' alliance, whose members have not defended Armenia but rather planned a war against it. In response to the lawmaker's observation about why they do not exit the CSTO if that is the case, he stated that they will exit, deciding when.
Then, Foreign Minister Mirzoyan approached the podium, trying to clarify that Pashinyan did not claim that they must exit the CSTO, but rather noted that it is Armenia that will decide: 'The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia did not say, 'We are leaving the CSTO,' he said, 'We will decide when to leave, but we will not go back.' This is what he said—no less, but also no more. If anyone insists that the Prime Minister of Armenia said that Armenia is leaving the CSTO, they are mistaken, and this is easily provable.'
Incidentally, Russia is changing its ambassador in Armenia, and a quite significant figure is being prepared to be sent to Yerevan.
