Coca-Cola Re-registers Its Brands in Russia After Exiting in 2022
The American beverage company Coca-Cola has submitted applications to register its brands, Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite, according to Ведомости, as noted in the Rospatent electronic database.
The applications were filed in April and pertain to refreshment and alcoholic beverages, carbonated water, and other products (International Classification of Goods Classes 32 and 33).
About two years ago, in March 2022, Coca-Cola announced that it would completely cease operations in the Russian market, and in June of the same year, it decided to stop the production and sale of its beverage brands in Russia.
