In July 2022, during the 24th meeting of the heads of security services of Turkic-speaking countries, the head of Azerbaijan's State Security Service admitted that actions by Armenian revanchist opposition against the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan would be decisively thwarted. This was stated by Arthur Khachaturyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, from the podium of the National Assembly.

Anyone who follows regional politics knows that Korotchenko is Azerbaijan's number one lobbyist in Russia. You are quoting Azerbaijan's number one lobbyist. Why are you citing someone who is one of the enemies of Armenia and the Armenian people, given that he has leveled insults against Bishop Bagrat and the Armenian Apostolic Church? It doesn’t matter to you that Korotchenko has denigrated Armenia his whole life; you reference him because your interests coincide," Khachaturyan addressed Vahagn Aleksanyan.
