Now We Are a Hostile Country to Them, Just as They Are to Us: Peskov
The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, stated in a press briefing that "the United States is now a hostile country for Russia." He added, "And now we are a hostile country to them, just as they are to us," referring to the current state of relations between the two nations.
Peskov made these remarks while commenting on the decision made in Washington to ban former U.S. intelligence officer Scott Ritter from traveling to Russia, where he intended to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"Such restrictions can be imposed on former intelligence officers, especially when it concerns visiting a hostile state," Peskov noted.
