Anahit Manasyan States There Was No Instruction Not to Meet with the Bishop
“During the gathering, several questions were raised, for which we will respond publicly.” This was stated by the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan in a conversation with reporters, summarizing her response to the demands presented by Bishop Bagrat.
To the question of why she refused to meet with the Bishop in the presence of media, Anahit Manasyan responded, “The Human Rights Defender has a clear methodology for meetings with citizens; we do not engage in any discussions with them in the presence of others.”
Anahit Manasyan assured that there was no instruction not to meet with the Bishop and stated that she is now ready to meet, but in their format.
