Israel May Suspend Fighting in Gaza for 42 Days: Netanyahu
Israel may agree to suspend fighting in the Gaza Strip for 42 days in order to free hostages held there, but will then continue its operations. This was reported by TASS, referencing Israel Hayom.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this during a meeting in the Knesset. According to him, Israel cannot cease its war efforts because all enemies are watching to see if they will surrender.
“To return the hostages, we can pause military operations for 42 days, but we will not give up on achieving complete victory,” stated the Israeli Prime Minister.
