The War Continues: Bishop Bagrat Reveals Three Directions of Transitional Government’s Agenda
The transitional government must operate under three clear agenda directions. This was announced by Bishop Bagrat during today’s rally:
- a) A peace government that is non-partisan, composed of all capable individuals based on their professional experience, knowledge, and dedication. This is aimed at achieving internal peace based on principles of justice.
- b) Foreign relations must be established to ensure real peace, free of adversaries, based on the Armenian agenda.
- c) Preparation and conduct of early or regular elections within a set timeframe, without aspirations to participate in these elections, while ensuring a free and transparent environment and initial fairness for all political forces.
“The war has not ended. It continues in the form of this violent delimitation and demarcation, where neither delimitation nor demarcation exists, but merely the surrendering of lands under duress. It continues in a spiritual, moral, and civilizational sense, manifested in lies and deceit, through the propaganda of enmity and hatred, and through the social injustice and criminal inaction of power, wherein the primary interest is to maintain power at the expense of state failure and loss, along with the destruction of identity,” he stated.
