VIDEO: Provocateurs Were Involved – Ruben Melikyan on the Clash Near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
A few moments ago, I learned that there are four injured individuals at the Central Police Department, including a person with heart failure who is feeling unwell; a doctor is currently there. This was announced during a Facebook live stream by human rights defender Ruben Melikyan. “Emergency assistance is urgently needed at the Central Police Department, four people have bodily injuries,” he stated.
He mentioned that he was near the ministry when the scuffle began. “I have the impression that provocateurs were involved and the rationale of the movement is known to all of us to be non-violent. All of this must be documented to identify those who instigated this clash. Representatives of the police approached and stated that they were stabbed,” Melikyan added. “I have communicated this information to Bishop Bagrat, and he announced that if such a thing has happened, those individuals should be identified. One of the policemen even lifted his clothing to show something that looked like a mosquito bite on his abdomen, claiming it was a stab wound. I am not providing an assessment, I am just recording the fact,” Melikyan stated.
