We Are Following the Events with Deep Concern: US Vice President
The White House is concerned about the recent developments in Tbilisi. This was stated by US Vice President Kamala Harris in a message to Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on the occasion of Georgia's Independence Day.
“President Biden and I are following the events unfolding in Georgia with deep concern. We are worried about developments such as the passage of the foreign agents law by the Georgian Parliament,” said the US Vice President. She added that such actions could endanger Georgian democracy and disrupt Georgia's relations with the United States and Europe.
