More than 1,500 supporters of former U.S. President Donald Trump gathered in New York on Thursday for his first campaign rally since 2016. A video has surfaced online showing the former president dancing during the event.

Supporters of the Republican Party convened at Crotona Park in the South Bronx. As reported by TASS, the location for the event was not randomly chosen. The South Bronx is known to be a Democratic stronghold, where President Joe Biden won by a significant margin in 2020.

Security for the event was managed by the police and the Secret Service, with law enforcement conducting thorough checks on each person attending the rally, and all participants passed through metal detector screening.
