Putin Says He is Ready for Negotiations with Ukraine Based on Today’s Realities
The resumption of peaceful negotiations with Ukraine is possible, considering the current realities, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Once again, discussions about the necessity of returning to the negotiations have emerged. Let them return. But they do so not based on one side's desires, but on the fundamental agreements reached during complex negotiations in Belarus and Turkey, and based on today’s realities that have developed on the ground,” he told reporters.
“We are ready for that,” added Putin. Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Putin is “ready for negotiations that will lead to achieving the goals set within the framework of the special military operation.”
