Tatarstan Airports Closed Due to Drone Attacks
The airports in Kazan and Nizhnekamsk have temporarily suspended operations to ensure flight safety following a drone attack. This was reported by the press secretary of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Artem Korenyako.
To ensure flight safety, the crews of the aircraft, air dispatchers, and airport services are taking all necessary measures. According to Baza, two drones were spotted in the airspace of Nizhnekamsk, one of which was destroyed by air defense forces.
According to reports, a mass evacuation of employees from enterprises in the region has begun. In Nizhnekamsk, workers at five enterprises have ceased operations. Employees of the thermal power station have also been evacuated.
