Turkey Will Make Every Effort: Erdogan on Armenian-Azerbaijani Agreement
Turkey will make every effort to achieve stable peace. This was announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following a cabinet meeting, as reported by Turkish media.
“We welcome the agreement for Azerbaijan to return 4 villages. Turkey will make every effort to achieve stable peace,” he stated.
Recently, Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during which they discussed bilateral relations as well as the regional and global agenda.
“Erdogan expressed satisfaction regarding the positive progress in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia and noted that Turkey is closely monitoring this process. He stated that just and stable peace in the region will create new conditions for both Azerbaijan and Armenia and other countries in the region,” the statement said.
