The Downed Helicopter Carrying Raisi Was American: Media
The helicopter that crashed in northwestern Iran while transporting President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was an American-made Bell 212, according to reports from Tasnim Agency.
It is noted that the helicopter was manufactured in the USA, capable of carrying up to 14 passengers and had a speed of 190 km/h.
Previously, the head of Iran's Red Crescent Society, Pir Hossein Kolivand, reported that upon locating the crash site in the East Azerbaijan province, no signs of live passengers were found.
