Nikol Pashinyan Sends Condolences to Iran
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a condolence telegram to His Excellency the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, regarding the crash of a helicopter that resulted in the deaths of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the accompanying crew.
In the telegram, it is stated: “Your Excellency, I am shocked by the news of the tragic death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the accompanying crew due to the helicopter crash. On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Armenia, I extend my sincere condolences and words of comfort to my dear friend and colleague, President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and to all those who lost their lives in this tragedy.
I stand in solidarity with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran during this very difficult moment, wishing them strength and resilience. The Republic of Armenia and its people stand by the great friend and neighboring state of Iran during this challenging time.”
