14 Citizens Detained on the Road to Kiran
14 citizens have been detained on the road leading to the village of Kiran. This was reported to NEWS.am by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.
It should be noted that the police continue to block the road to Kiran from both sides. The situation at the closed road is periodically escalating, with police restricting access for both MPs and journalists, citing that operations are underway in the village.
Earlier, it was mentioned that the demarcation work in the Kiran area is nearing completion. Armenian border guard forces are taking control of the designated border area. To carry out this process, access to Kiran is temporarily closed. During the night, three poles have been set up, and armed and masked border guards are positioned nearby.
