Several Police Officers Threaten Detained Individuals Regarding Their Minor Children, Says Lawyer

Several police officers, crossing all boundaries, have made threats to detained individuals concerning their minor children. This was announced today by lawyer Sergey Harutyunyan in the courtyard of St. Anna Church.

“They have threatened that their children will not be able to attend school anymore. They have even threatened parents that they will be deprived of parental rights. I urge and appeal to the police officers: gather your wits. I don’t know what you are hoping for; whom are you protecting—a gang or the leader of a gang, the actions and inaction of whom have caused our homeland to be divided? Day by day, it’s being split in half. Are you protecting the person who was glorified when you and your colleagues were being beaten?” said lawyer Harutyunyan.

“Officers, I repeat—gather your heads, especially regarding minors. We, the lawyers, will be persistent. Everything is being documented. This will not go unnoticed and will not pass,” Harutyunyan stated.
