During Border Delimitation, Positions Are Not Important; What Matters Is Where the Border Passes: Armen Grigoryan
If a border delimitation is taking place, positions are not important; what matters is where the border passes.
This was stated by the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, during a broadcast on Public Radio.
“During the process of demarcating the border, we are naturally creating additional security guarantees for the Republic of Armenia. These security guarantees will be comprehensive when we complete the full border delimitation. We are confident that we are creating more security guarantees through this process,” said Grigoryan.
“Not a single millimeter of land has been ceded from the territory of Armenia. The border delimitation process has been successful and has set a precedent for us to continue the process. We have experience in stationing border guards in Syunik along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, and since 2020, there has been relative calm in that area,” Grigoryan added.
