Several Streets Adjacent to the Opera and Ballet Theater Will Be Closed Today
Several streets surrounding the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet will be closed today. This was announced by the Police.
“Based on a request from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, in connection with the event organized as part of the EBRD International Forum to be held at the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, traffic and pedestrian movement will be restricted from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on May 15 in the streets adjacent to the Theater in order to ensure public order and safety.
In particular, Teryan Street will be closed from the intersection with Sayat-Nova Avenue to the intersection with Teryan and Tumanyan Streets, and Tumanyan Street will be closed from the intersection with Tumanyan and Abovyan Streets to the intersection with Mashots Avenue and Tumanyan Street.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused and ask citizens to avoid these areas of the capital during these hours,” the announcement stated.
