Meghri Mayor Resigns: Who Will Be the Next Mayor?
Meghri Mayor Bagrat Zakaryan resigned today, on May 15. This information was confirmed to NEWS.am by Armen Hayrapetyan, a member of the "Living Country" party.
“After the elections, we signed a coalition memorandum with the "Liberal" party. According to this agreement, a representative of the "Republic" party, namely Bagrat Zakaryan, was supposed to govern for 2.5 years, and the last 2.5 years were assigned to Khachatur Andreasyan, a teammate of Samvel Babayan,” Hayrapetyan said in an interview with the media.
