Baku to Extend Detention Period for All Former Leaders of Artsakh
Baku is set to extend the detention period for all former leaders of Artsakh currently in custody. This has been reported by Azerbaijani media outlets.
Relevant petitions have been submitted to the court as part of a judicial farce organized by the Azerbaijan authorities. The proposal includes extending the detention measures for former presidents of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Bako Sahakyan and Araik Harutyunyan, former foreign minister David Babayan, National Assembly Speaker David Ishkhanyan, and generals Levon Mnatsakanyan and David Manukyan.
It was previously reported that the detention of former president Arkadi Ghukasyan has been extended by five months.
