Members of the 'Ejmiatsin' Alliance Detained

'Hraparak' reports: 'Moments ago, members of the 'Ejmiatsin' alliance were detained by the police. The head of the faction, Sevak Khachatryan, told 'Hraparak' that they were planning to have 'coffee' with Nikol Pashinyan, who is scheduled to visit Vagharsapat today. Pashinyan will be visiting the 7th school. While citizens and opposition council members were at the scene ahead of his arrival, the police, who had not yet taken any action, detained the council members.'

It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that the police had detained potential participants of a protest from Ejmiatsin early in the morning to prevent disruptions during Nikol Pashinyan's visit to the school.
