Video: Police Reinforce Presence on Melik Adamyan Street, Number Surpasses 500

Police have mobilized forces on Melik Adamyan Street using buses, according to a correspondent from NEWS.am.

The correspondent reported that police are monitoring all entrances to the government buildings, with their numbers exceeding 500.

It is noteworthy that police are also securing the main entrance to the government, where a barrier has been formed with nearly six lines of police officers.

Earlier, during a conversation with reporters, the Chief of Police, Aram Hovhannisyan, stated that they would operate strictly within the boundaries of the law. He declined to specify the number of police officers.

It is recalled that since May 4, a march led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese from the village of Kiranth in the Tavush region is now heading to Republic Square, where a rally is expected to take place at 16:00.
