VIDEO: Drone Attack on Belgorod Leaves Casualties and Destruction

As a result of a night attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on Belgorod and the surrounding region, preliminary reports indicate that seven adults and one child were injured. There have been direct hits on residential apartment buildings and vehicles. This was reported by the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on his Telegram channel.

“Belgorod city and the region have been subjected to an airstrike by the Ukrainian armed forces. There are direct hits on residential apartment buildings and cars. According to preliminary information, eight people have been injured, including seven adults and one child. Four people with fragmentary injuries to various parts of their bodies were transported to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod, where they are receiving all necessary assistance. An 11-year-old girl with fragmentary injuries to her left leg was taken to a pediatric regional clinical hospital. Three other injured individuals received medical aid on-site and refused hospitalization,” he wrote.

Gladkov added that various damages have been discovered in 34 apartments of 19 apartment buildings and one private residence in Belgorod as a result of the shelling, and 37 vehicles have been damaged. Emergency services, construction company specialists, managers, and management companies are working on-site.

“In the Dubovoye village of the Belgorod region, the roofs of four private homes have been damaged. Three vehicles have also been damaged,” he noted.

Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov clarified on his Telegram channel that mainly the glazing in the houses has been damaged. “The glazing has mainly been damaged, there are direct hits... authorities are inspecting the apartments, information is being verified. After the preliminary reports are compiled, workers will begin restoration. But first, they will close the thermal contour,” he wrote.
