Turkey is Closely Monitoring the Situation, Says Erdoğan
Turkey is closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine and urges the parties to return to negotiations, stated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He had a phone conversation with the President of Brazil on Thursday.
“During the conversation, we discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Brazil, as well as global and regional issues... President Erdoğan also mentioned that Turkey is closely monitoring the course of the war between Ukraine and Russia, calling on the parties to return to negotiations and work towards establishing a just peace based on rights and law,” the statement from Erdoğan's office reads.
