Video: Property Owner Pressured Not to Provide Space for March Participants' Overnight Stay in Solak
Participants of the march led by Bishop Bagrat are heading to the village of Solak in the Kotayk region, where they will spend the night and continue their march towards Yerevan the following day.
Before heading to Solak, the leader of the Tavush diocese announced that they had been informed in advance that a larger area would be provided for the overnight stay so that all march participants could be accommodated. However, due to pressure, the property owner has refused.
“According to our information, the property owner has been pressured not to provide space. They have been pressured in ‘democratic’ Armenia. It was previously granted, but suddenly it has changed today. I leave the conclusion to you,” said Bishop Bagrat.
The march participants chanted, “Shame, shame.” In response, the bishop echoed with Christian spirit, “Say, ‘Blessed be’.”
