Head of Central Administrative District Dismissed from Position
Samvel Ghukasyan, the head of the Central Administrative District, has announced his dismissal from his position via his Facebook page.
“Dear Centralians, fellow citizens, employees, and partners, as I share with you the various programs and proposals aimed at the development and progress of our beloved city center, and taking on the task of addressing the existing issues, I once again realized that the mission of serving the well-being of the capital is one of the noblest and most urgent for me. I sincerely hope that the programs implemented during my tenure have contributed to the progress in creating a comfortable urban environment, and that the steps taken towards that goal have had visible results and will continue to be a guiding star for the future.
As of today, I am stepping down from the position of head of the Central Administrative District; however, I will continue to serve Yerevan and its residents by contributing to the creation of a comfortable and prosperous environment in the capital,” he wrote.
