Early Elections May Be Held in Azerbaijan
Early parliamentary elections may take place in Azerbaijan. According to the law, parliamentary elections are scheduled for this November. This was announced by the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Mazahir Panahov.
However, the CEC chairman noted that the elections could occur earlier. “Considering that the parliamentary elections and the COP29 conference are set to take place simultaneously, a decision may be made to move the elections,” he stated.
