Encouraging News: Toivo Klaar on Agreements Reached Between Yerevan and Baku
“There are encouraging news regarding the work of the border commissions between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the legal documents, and the commencement of the delimitation process based on the 1991 Almaty Agreement,” stated Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus.
The European Union fully supports the negotiation process, emphasized the EU special representative.
Today, Yerevan and Baku announced that the delimitation commissions have preliminarily agreed on four separate sections of the border, as noted in the statement, aimed at aligning with the legally established inter-republican borders that existed at the time of the USSR's collapse.
