VIDEO: Azerbaijan Destroys Shushi's Green Hour
Azerbaijan has demonstrated yet another act of vandalism by leveling the Green Hour in Shushi, Artsakh, which had a history of over 200 years. This information was reported on the microblogging platform X by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation's European Committee on Armenian Issues.
“Azerbaijan has destroyed the historic Armenian Church of St. John the Baptist (known as the Green Hour), constructed in 1818. The church was located in the city of Shushi, Artsakh, which is occupied by Azerbaijan. Satellite images confirm that the church was demolished in February 2024. This deliberate act by Baku is evidence of the systematic destruction of Armenian heritage on their ancestral lands,” the statement reads.
