Three Sons of Hamas Bureau Chief Killed in Israeli Strikes

Three sons of Ismail Haniya, the Hamas bureau chief of the Palestinian movement governing the Gaza Strip, have been killed as a result of Israeli strikes, according to Al Jazeera.

"Three sons of Hamas bureau chief Ismail Haniya and several of his grandchildren were killed during an Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip," the news outlet reported.

In November 2023, reports confirmed the death of Haniya's granddaughter.

It is important to note that on the morning of October 7, 2023, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack originating from Gaza. The Israeli army's press service indicated that extremists had launched over 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of terrorists infiltrated border areas in southern Israel. The military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement announced that it was carrying out "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also announced the initiation of "Operation Iron Swords" against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
