Kremlin Responds to Pashinyan's Statement
Armenia is a close partner and ally of Russia, and the importance of bilateral relations cannot be overstated. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov while commenting on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that "Armenia has made no mistakes in its relations with Russia."
"We hope that in the near future, Putin and Pashinyan will have the opportunity to personally discuss issues of bilateral relations," Peskov added. He expressed hope that the existing problems in Armenian-Russian relations would be resolved through bilateral working dialogue.
"There is no place where our partners can accuse us of failing to fulfill our obligations, while unfortunately, the opposite cases are numerous. We do not want to argue with Russia, not only because we do not have the opportunity and power to do so, but because we value the enormous positives that have existed and continue to exist in our relations," Pashinyan noted.
