Instead of 'Ura', 'Ketzce': The Armenian Army Will Have a New Regulation
The armed forces of Armenia will have a new internal service regulation, with the corresponding draft currently in the development phase. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia in response to a query from Sputnik Armenia.
The transition to the new regulation will take place as part of overall reforms within the army. The ministry noted that the final version of the regulation is not yet ready, but some details are already known.
In particular, it is planned to replace 'Ura' with 'Ketzce' in situations where the commander congratulates the personnel. This form of greeting has been inherited from the Soviet army, but it has now been decided to 'localize' it.
At the same time, the authors do not plan to change the phrases 'just like that' and 'in no way' used in affirmative or negative responses from the subordinate soldier.
The Ministry of Defense has indicated that there is no intention to adapt the regulation to any model from other countries' armies. Earlier, the Defense Ministry also announced plans for introducing new uniforms for soldiers, which will take NATO standards into account.
